Walking in REGENSBURG / Germany 🇩🇪

Turn & Taxis to Dreifaltigkeitskirche

The Bavarian town of Regensburg is one of Germany’s oldest towns, founded by the Romans in 179 A.D.. Regensburg has a well preserved old town which is UNESCO World Heritage site since 2006 which we visit sometimes here on POPtravel.

On this summer afternoon we our tour starts at the Turn & Taxis castle. We explore the old town of Regensburg afterwards where we see sights like the Medieval town hall with Baroque & Gothic elements. The Regensburg’s St. Peter’s Cathedral is also not to be missed.

This time we cross the Danube river, pass the Stadt am Hof towards the Steinweg-Pfaffenstein district where we walk up the hill. There at the Dreifaltigkeitskirche we have a nice view over Regensburg and end our walking tour.
