Stone Bridge and Old Town

Regensburg / Germany as a Bavarian town that we visit is regularly here on POPtravel. As one of Germany’s oldest towns, founded by the Romans in 179 A.D.. Regensburg has a well preserved old town which is UNESCO World Heritage site since 2006.

This walking tour of Regensburg starts at the stone bridge (Steinerne BrΓΌcke). This bridge is considered a masterpiece for its time - built from 1135 until 1146 latest.

We then explore the popular Old Town with its many small alleys. People are enjoying the warm weather meeting up for dinner or some drinks. After half an hour we reach the cathedral (Regensburger Dom) where we end this walk.
