Walking in CLUJ

NAPOCA / Romania πŸ‡·πŸ‡΄

Cluj-Napoca / Romania is the unofficial capital of the Transylvania region in the northwest of the country. Cluj-Napoca is has several universities which leads also to a pretty vibrant nightlife and positive vibes. There are a few sights dating from the Saxon and Hungarian rule for tourists on their way through Romania or coming for a stopover from the airport.

We start our tour at the cental square PiaΘ›a Unirii, where one of the landmarks sits - the Gothic-style St. Michael’s Church and the Matthias Corvinus Statue of the 15th-century king. The BΓ‘nffy Palace is now a museum for Romanian art.

Our tour continues all around the city center and a bit of the old town on this Sunday afternooon before we return to our starting point PiaΘ›a Unirii.
