St.Gallen / Switzerland is a city south of Lake Constance (Bodensee), in the northeast of the country. St.Gallen is also located about one hour from Zurich, close to the borders with Germany and Austria where faster train connections allow even day trips from Munich.

On this rainy day we start our tour at the train station. We walk to the nearby city center with the many shopping streets like Multergasse. We continue towards the market with the historical Waaghaus before we head through the old town again to. the Abbey of St. Gall.

This monastery is one of the main touristic sights. The Abbey of St. Gall complex includes a library with a rich collection of ancient books, which can be visited though filming seemed not allowed. As we continue to the twin-towered cathedral and return to the city on our way back to where we started.

We end our tour at the St. Gallen train station.
