We are Siem Reap, Cambodia. The city is the gateway to the Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap which is the most popular destination for tourists in Cambodia. There visitors can explore the most impressive and well-preserved examples of Khmer architecture in the world.

The history of Siem Reap dates back to the Khmer Empire, which ruled much of Southeast Asia from the 9th to the 15th century. The city played an important role in the Angkor civilization, serving as the capital city during the reign of King Jayavarman VII. Siem Reap is also known for its traditional Apsara dance, which is a form of classical dance that tells stories from Cambodian mythology.

Today the city of Siem Reap center offers a few tourist attractions, including the “Pub Street”. This central walking street is filled with bars and restaurants. The Old Market is located nearby. There locals offer souvenirs and local handicrafts.

On our tour we see most of the city center with the pub street and surroundings.
