Walking in LUBLIN / Poland 🇵🇱

Sun and Rain

Lublin / Poland is a city in the eastern part of the country. As the ninth-largest city it was a significant city in the 16th century due to its location between Krakow and Vilnius.

We start our tour at the plac Łokietka with the “Globus Lublin” in front of the town hall.

We walk through the Cracow Gate (Brama Krakowska), get to the main square (Rynek) and visit the Dominican Abbey (Klasztor Ojców Dominikanów).

Our tour continues to explore the central old town as we get to the Po Farze square. From the uncovered foundation of the 14th-century St. Michael church there we also have a nice view Lublin’s own royal castle.

There in the castle we see the Chapel of the Holy Trinity (Kaplica Zamkowa Trójcy Świętej) which is the main attraction there.

We walk around the northern city center and head to the Krakowskie Przedmieście which is the main walking street. Now it is raining. We see the multimedia fountain that is lit up with LEDs at night. From there we get back to the center and the point where we started.

Back at the Town Hall / Cracow Gate we end our tour of Lublin.
