Walking in ST. JULIAN'S / Malta πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ή

Tour around Paceville

Saint Julian’s (Maltese: San Δ iljan) is a coastal town on the island of Malta. It is located north of Valletta, the country’s capital. St. Julian’s and the Paceville is known for being the nightlife center of the island with many hotels and restaurants catering to tourists.

We start our tour on the rocky coast between the Hilton and Westin hotel. Some locals are fishing and cats try to catch something to eat.

When we get to the street Triq il-Wilga, we walk up to the Paceville Piazza and continue to the epicentre of nightlife along the stairs of Triq Santa Rita. Most of the nightclubs and bars are along this narrow footpath.

We check out the Bay Street Shopping Complex mall on some levels. The round continues as we get back to Paceville Piazza and south to the Spinola Garden.

The Spinola Bay is great for a walk on this afternoon. Via the Portomaso Marina we walk back to where we started - not on roads but on rocks in the end. The cats and fisherman are still there.
