Walking in EINDHOVEN / Netherlands

Eindhoven is a lively modern city in the Netherlands while also being one of the oldest towns in the region. Eindhoven was the start for electronics and light giant Philips and has a more industrial character. The city itself isn’t on the tourist radar, yet we will have an enjoyable walk around the centre there.

We start at “De Blob” and walk around the (reconstructed) old town streets with plenty of restaurants and shops. The market is especially busy today. We get out of the centre a bit and walk back via the Van Abbe Museum. We see the St. Catherine’s Church as one of the main sights in Eindhoven. The walk finishes at the Lichttoren and the Blob where we started - completing the loop.
